Mapping Symbology |
The Mapping Symbology screen allows you to create symbols from simple lines and polygons, or use Symbol IDs to associate a symbol with an asset. When deleting a symbology and its ID, you cannot delete a symbology that is currently assigned to an asset category.
Map symbology ID
The unique identifier of the map symbology.
Description
Description of the map symbology.
Symbol ID
The unique identifier of the symbol. This field links to symbols created and available from the Symbols page located in System Mgmt -> Setup -> GIS Configuration.
Line and polygon options
Use these options to create basic symbols with lines and polygons.
Color: The color of the symbol. This field has a choice list.
Line width: The width of the symbol line.
Border color: The color of the symbol border. This field has a choice list.
Border width: The width of the symbol border.
Transparency %: The transparency of the symbol.
