Notes (Accidents) |
The Notes tab enables you to view and record transactional notes regarding equipment accidents. If there are notes associated with the accident, this tab displays in the alert color specified on Preferences -> Color Setup.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can search on accident ID, equipment ID, operator ID, claim status, or license number.
Accident ID
Identifier of the accident currently selected in the grid. This field has a list box.
Date and time entered
Date and time (in MMDDYYYY format) that the accident was entered. This field is display only.
Entered by
Identifier of the user who entered the accident. The user name displays to the right of the ID. This field is display only.
The fields in the bottom section of this tab enable you to view or add notes about the accident. Once a note has been entered, it may not be changed or deleted.
Text field that displays previously entered notes. Includes the creation date and time as well as the user ID of the person who entered the note. This field is display only.
Add a new note
Free-form text field in which you can type notes regarding the accident. This field is optional.
