Enter serialized part information

To display and enter information about serialized parts, use the Data -> Parts Items -> Serialized Parts screen. You can also use it to enter serial numbers for parts already in stock.

The Serialized Parts screen records the following information:

• Location: Parts can be in stock at a location or installed on an equipment unit; you can also identify the position on the equipment unit

• Last work order on which the serialized part was installed or removed from an equipment unit

• Status (IN STOCK, INSTALLED, AWAITING DISPOSITION, RETURN TO VENDOR, or SCRAPPED)

• Receipt unit price, vendor ID, and receipt date
