Transfer serialized parts

To transfer a serialized part:

Step 1.  Go to the Data -> Parts Activity -> Stock Transfers screen.

Step 2.  Click the Prepare for Insert  button .

Step 3.  Enter information in the applicable fields.

• In the New Status field, select SEND PARTS OUT from the choice list.

• In the Transfer quantity field, type 1. (Transfer quantity for serialized parts must be 1.)

• In the Serial number field, type the number of the part being transferred.

• Note: You cannot change the serial number on a transfer with the status MODIFY DATA or RECEIVE PARTS IN. You must delete the line item and add a new one.

Step 4.  Click the Process button .
