Capital Attributes

The Capital Attributes screen enables you to define attributes for use in capital planning. Attributes can be used on funding sources, capital projects, capital plans, or any combination thereof.

Detail View Header

The fields on this tab define the data that displays.

Capital attribute ID

Identifier of the capital attribute currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. Maximum field length is 20 characters. This field has a list box. Required.

Only inactive attributes may be deleted.

Detail View

Name

Name of the attribute. Maximum field length is 30 characters. This field is optional.

Used on

Place a check in the field (or fields) where the attribute is used.

• Funding sources: If this field has a check, the attribute is used on funding sources.

• Projects: If this field has a check, the attribute is used on capital projects.

• Capital plans: If this field has a check, the attribute is used on capital plans.

Default values

The following fields record the default value (or values) associated with the attribute.

Text value

The default text associated with the attribute. Maximum field length is 255 characters.

Numeric value

The default numeric value associated with the attribute. Maximum of four decimal places.

Path/filename

Default path and file name associated with the attribute. Maximum field length is 255 characters.

Comment

Default text comment associated with the attribute. Maximum field length is 255 characters.
