Basic Info


The Basic Info tab for copy/chain information enables you to display and define identifying information about new service level agreement (SLA) IDs copied from and chained to existing SLA IDs.

Detail View Header

The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.

New service level agreement ID

Identifier of the new service level agreement. This field has a list box. Service level agreements are defined on the Data -> Equipment Management -> Service Level Agreements -> Primary Information screen.

Detail View

The data in the fields in the bottom section of this tab define basic information about the service level agreement ID. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.

Description

Description of the service level agreement. Free-format area.

Source service level agreement ID

Service level agreement ID to use as a source for the information associated with the new service level agreement ID. This field has a list box. The service level agreement description displays to the right of the ID. Service level agreements are defined on the Data -> Equipment Management -> Service Level Agreements -> Primary Information screen.

The following fields display values from the source service level agreement. They are all display only.

SLA equipment category

Equipment category that this service level agreement covers. This field displays the SLA equipment category of the source service-level agreement (defined on the Data -> Equipment Management -> Service Level Agreements -> Primary Information screen). The category description displays to the right of the ID.

Availability location ID

The identifier of the availability location.

Department ID

Identifier of the department for this service level agreement. This field displays the department ID of the source service level agreement. The department name displays to the right of the ID.

Station location ID

Identifier of the station location to which the agreement applies. This field displays the station location of the source service level agreement. The location name displays to the right of the ID.

Locations are designated as station locations in the Station field on the Functions tab of the Data -> Setup -> Organization Structure -> Locations -> Primary Information screen.

Begin date

Date this service level agreement takes effect. This field displays the beginning date of the source service level agreement. You must change it, but once you do, you cannot change it again.

End date

Date this service level agreement expires. This field displays the ending date of the source service-level agreement. You must change it. There is no limit on the duration of an agreement, but it may not violate the overlap restrictions. The date must not be earlier than the system date.  

After you change this date for the new service level agreement, you can change it to an earlier date but not a later date.
