Classifications


The Classifications tab enables you to define the employee’s job classification.

Detail View Header

The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.

Employee ID

Unique identifier of the employee currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. If the ID already exists, the employee name displays to the right of the ID.

Detail View

The fields in the bottom section of this tab define the job classification for the employee. All fields are optional.

Primary Classification

Employee’s current job classification. This field has a list box.

Date

Date (in MM/DD/YYYY) that the employee was assigned to the current job classification.

Grade

Employee’s current grade.

Description

Description of the employee’s grade.

Standard grade

Employee’s standard grade.

Occupation

Employee’s occupation. This field has a list box. The occupation description displays to the right of the ID. Occupations are defined on the Data -> Shop Activity -> Setup -> Employees -> Setup -> Occupations screen.

The screen group enables you to associate the employee with a work management classification (or classifications). This field is optional.
