FuelFocus error messages

Data -> Enterprise Purchasing -> Receipts


The following table lists the most common FuelFocus error messages and provides troubleshooting tips.

 

Error Message

Tank inventory less than quantity dispensed

The quantity dispensed is greater than the current quantity on hand for that tank.

Ensure that all tank readings are accurate and have sufficient quantity on hand.

Vehicle is not active

The equipment unit does not have an active life cycle status code on the Status tab on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen.

This error should only occur if the life cycle status code for the unit was changed after the ICU went offline.

Vehicle not authorized for fuel

The unit is not authorized for fuel. The Fuel tickets field on the Authorization tab of the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen is blank.

This error should only occur if the check (X) in the Fuel tickets field was removed after the ICU went offline.

Wrong product type

The product dispensed from the hose is not one of the ones authorized for the equipment unit on the Codes tab of the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen.

This error should only occur if the product codes were changed after the ICU went offline.

Equipment ID XXX: fuel capacity XX

The amount of product dispensed is greater than the capacity allowed. If you are using Release 5.6 or lower,  use the Capacities tab on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Additional Data screen. If you are using Release 5.7 or higher, use the Codes tab on the Data  -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen.

Either the capacity was changed after the ICU went offline or there is a problem with the pulser on the hose. Contact Customer Support.
