Additional inspections


To activate additional inspections on the Inspections tab of the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen, complete the following steps.

Step 1.  Assign a PM service task ID to the inspection type for the class ID (or IDs) designated as the PM class (or classes) for units on which the inspection will be performed. (Go to the PM/Inspection Detail tab of the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Equipment Class -> Primary Information screen.)

Step 2.  Specify the PM tasks which comprise that inspection for each equipment class designated as the PM class for equipment units on which the inspection will be performed. (Go to the PM Tasks tab of the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Equipment Class -> Class/Task Information screen.)

Step 3.  For each equipment unit that requires the inspection, define the additional inspections information. (Go to the Inspections tab on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen.)
