Computation of labor cost

Labor cost is calculated as follows:

Step 1.   Multiply the applicable labor rate (see Determining labor rates) by the time code multiplier for the time code entered.

Step 2.  Multiply the product by the number of hours.

Step 3.  Multiply the product by the labor overhead percentage.

Compute the sales tax (if any) and add it to the product.
