Action menu commands, toolbar buttons, and shortcut keys

The Action menu includes the following toolbar buttons (if a shortcut key exists, it is listed as well):

Help Context (screen-specific online help): F1

Get Data (unrestricted Get Data; fills the grid): Ctrl + G

Filter (restricted Get Data; displays Filter dialog box): Ctrl + F

Define Sort (display dialog for Sort selections): Ctrl + O

Prepare for Insert (prepare the system to accept a new record): Ctrl + N

Prepare for Copy: Ctrl + Y

Prepare for Update (Unlock; prepare the system to accept changes to a record): Ctrl + U

Export Grid Data (export data in the grid to a file or the clipboard in a delimited or fixed width format)

Process (Save to Database; processes the insert or update to a record): Ctrl + S

Delete (delete the current entry): Ctrl + D

Cancel (cancel the current action): Ctrl + Z

Stop (stop data retrieval)

About (display program information, version number, and licensed modules): ALT + H, A

Execute Screen Report (print Report Group reports)
