Use the keyboard to select text

• To select text, hold down the Shift key and move the insertion point.

• To select text using the keyboard, do one of the following:

• To extend one character to the right: Shift + right arrow

• To extend one character to the left: Shift + left arrow

To select and clear check boxes, press the spacebar.

To cancel a selection, click outside the selection or press an arrow key.
