Equipment Cycles |
Equipment cycles represent the planned work of a particular consist, linking together a set of scheduled trips that the consist will provide. The cycle starts with the first train dispatched from the yard and continues through each train as it turns. This function calculates planned mileage for the equipment to help planners balance equipment utilization.
If you have the Operations module installed, you can use the Equipment Cycles screen to define and modify equipment cycles. You may define equipment cycles that span more than one day.
