Stops

Stops are the building blocks for routes; they identify the destination and departure stations located along a route. Stops also provide critical reference points for recording delays and other performance information. Any type of stop may be used on a route or a schedule to track incident points, but only those stops identified as passenger stops will have data recorded for them on a trip.

The Stops screen enables you to identify all passenger stations, which is the minimum amount of information that should be entered. You may also use this screen to identify any yards, interlockings, segments, and/or other timetable entries that will be used in the schedule or as the location of a delay or other incident.
