Company Codes


The Company Codes screen enables you to define information about each of the organization’s companies to which equipment units can be assigned.

The General Info tab on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Options screen specifies whether equipment units are required to have company codes. Equipment units are required to have company codes if the organization uses the Data -> Call Center -> Call Center screen.

Detail View Header

The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.

Company ID

Identifier of the company currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box. The company description displays to the right of the ID.

Detail View

The data fields in the bottom section of this tab define basic information about the company code. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.

Description

Text description of the company. Maximum field length is 30 characters.

Invoice tolerance percentage ___ for invoices totaling less than ___

Only applies if the Call Center module is installed. The percentage by which the collective total of invoices that are less than the amount specified in this field can exceed the amount in the Estimated cost/Total field on the Estimate tab of the Data -> Call Center -> Call Center screen before an authorized person is required to place a check in the Approved field on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Call Center –> Vendor Invoices screen. (If the collective total is less than this percentage, it is automatically approved.)

The collective invoice total is specified in the Total amount field on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Call Center –> Vendor Invoices screen.

Invoice tolerance percentage ___ for invoices not less than the above amount

Indicates the percentage by which the collective total of invoices that are greater than the amount specified in the Invoice tolerance percentage ___ for invoices totaling less than ___ field can exceed the Estimated cost/Total field on the Estimate tab of the Data -> Call Center -> Call Center screen before an authorized person is required to place a check in the Approved field on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Call Center –> Vendor Invoices screen. (If the collective total is less than this percentage, it is automatically approved.)

The collective invoice total is specified in the Total amount field on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Call Center –> Vendor Invoices screen.
