Line Item Comments

The Line Item Comments tab enables you to record comments about line items on parts for which purchase orders should be created.

To view information on this screen, the Automatic numbering of purchase orders field on the Purchase Orders tab of the Data -> Purchasing -> Setup -> Options screen must specify a value other than NONE.

• Tip: You can use the filter to refine the information you want to display. See location level access.

Detail View

Data in the fields in the tab section define the comments. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.

Delete

To delete the entries in the fields to the right, place a check in this field and click Save.

Line item line number

Number of the line item to which the notes pertain.

Comments line number

Sequence number for the lines of comment text associated with the single line item in the Line item line number field. A unique line number is assigned to each line of comment text. This field is display only.

Comments

Text of the note associated with the comments line number.
