Notes |
The Notes tab enables you to view and record transactional notes regarding production runs. Note text is date-, time-, and user ID-stamped and cannot be edited once it has been saved. If there are notes associated with the run, this tab displays in the alert color specified on Preferences -> Color Setup. Entries on the Notes tab of the Data -> Production Planning -> Production Request screen also display on this tab.
Comments and notes from production requests are included on work orders generated from production runs.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can search on run ID, stage, part ID and suffix, requested or required date, and production ID, among others.
Run ID
Identifier of the production run. Automatically generated by the application. This field is display only.
Production Run Management Notes Display Field
Text field that displays previously entered notes. Includes the creation date and time as well as the user ID of the person who entered the note. This field is display only.
Add a new note
Text-only field for notes regarding the production run. After you click Save, the notes you typed display in the unlabeled field above this one.
