Note: The Replacement Analysis module has been replaced by the Replacement Modeling and Performance Analysis modules in FA Web Modules. Both modules are browser-based only.
The Analysis Results screen displays the results of analyses executed on the Analysis Info tab of the Data -> Equipment Management -> Replacement Analysis -> Execute Analysis screen.
Cost data for months with zero usage is included and cost and usage data for months prior to the equipment unit's in-service date is excluded.
If the zero usage occurs in the middle of the vehicle's life, the modeling does not require those months to have values.
If the zero usage occurs at the beginning of the vehicle's life, the modeling assumes one meter unit.
The fields in the top section of this tab define the data that displays.
Equipment ID
Identifier of the equipment unit on which the analysis was performed. This field has a list box of active equipment units. The equipment unit year, manufacturer, model, and description display to the right of the ID.
Run ID
Identifier of the sequential number assigned to the run (analysis). This field has a list box.
Data in the bottom section of the tab define the analysis. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.
Replacement year
Year in which to replace the equipment unit, calculated automatically.
Replacement month
Month in which to replace the equipment unit, calculated automatically. The value ranges from 1 to 12.
Months until replacement
Number of months before the replacement month.
Replacement age
Age, in months, at which to replace the equipment unit, calculated automatically.
Run date and time
Date and time of the run (analysis). This field is display only.
Equipment age at run
Age, in months, of the equipment unit at the run date and time.
Projected months
The number of months into the future that the calculation model projects.
Model error percentage
Percentage by which the calculation model may vary from the equipment unit’s actual data.
Maintenance class ID
Equipment unit’s equipment class for maintenance (assigned on the Classes tab of the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen).
Value depreciation ID
Identifier of the value depreciation of the equipment unit’s maintenance class ID. Value depreciation IDs are assigned to equipment classes on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Equipment Class -> Primary Information screen.
