Notes


The Notes tab enables you to view and record notes regarding service requests. If there are notes associated with the request, this tab displays in the alert color specified on Preferences -> Color Setup.

The Service Requests/Defects screen supports department-level and location-level access control, so you must belong to a user group with the applicable authorizations in order to make changes or updates.

Detail View Header

The fields in the top section of this tab default from the Basic Info tab. They are read only.

Date and time entered

Date and time the service request was created.

Entered by

Identifier of the person who entered the service request.

Detail View

The fields in the bottom section of this tab enable you to view or add notes about the service request. Once a note has been entered, it may not be changed or deleted.

Notes Open Text Field

Text field that displays previously entered notes. Includes the creation date and time as well as the user ID of the person who entered the note. Read only.

Add a new note

Free-form text field in which you can record notes regarding the service request. This field is optional.
