Skills |
The Skills tab displays the employees assigned to a crew and their skill types.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on crew ID, location ID, and shift ID.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Crew ID
Identifier of the crew currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a list box.
Data in the fields at the bottom section of this tab identify the employees in the crew and their skills. All fields are display only.
Delete
To delete the entries in the fields to the right, place a check in this field and click Save.
Employee ID
Identifier of the employee.
Employee IDs are assigned on the Personal Info tab of the Data -> Shop Activity -> Setup -> Employees -> Primary Information screen.
Name
Name of the employee.
Skill type
Special skill or training that the employee possesses.
Employee skill types are recorded on the Skills tab of the Data -> Shop Activity -> Setup -> Employees -> Primary Information screen. Skill types are defined on the Data -> Shop Activity -> Setup -> Employees -> Setup -> Skill Types screen.
Primary
If this field has a check, the skill is considered a primary one. This is useful if your organization has union rules that require that technicians perform the tasks or job functions for which they won the shift bid, but allows them to be scheduled for other tasks if there is no current work that requires their primary skills.
