Manufacturers |
The Manufacturers tab enables you to associate manufacturer symptom or complaint IDs with failure/cause codes. You can specify whether a failure/cause code applies to all symptoms or just specific ones.
The top section of the tab displays the failure/cause code.
Fail/cause ID
Identifier of the cause of the parts failure currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. This field has a choice list. The failure/cause description displays to the right of the ID.
The Manufacturer fail/cause codes screen group enables you to associate failure/cause codes with manufacturer symptom or complaint IDs.
Delete
If this field has a check, the entire row is deleted when you click Save.
Manufacturer ID
Identifier of the manufacturer. This field has a list box. Manufacturer IDs are defined on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Equipment Manufacturers screen.
Manufacturer cause ID
Identifier of the cause of the failure. This field has a list box. Manufacturer cause IDs are defined on the Data -> Warranty -> Setup -> Manufacturer Cause Codes screen.
