Equipment Classes |
The Equipment Classes tab of the Standard Jobs screen enables you to display and define equipment classes associated with the standard job.
The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.
Standard job ID
Identifier of the standard job currently selected in the grid or that you are defining. Maximum field length is 30 characters. This field has a choice list. If the ID is already defined, its description displays to the right of the ID. If authorized, you can define any number of standard jobs.
Data in the fields in the bottom section of this tab specify information about the tasks associated with the standard job. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.
Support all classes
Check this box to enable the standard job to support all equipment classes. If this option is not checked, the system validates the equipment class is supported for the standard job using the supported equipment classes data table below.
Equipment class ID
Identifier of the equipment class for resources that the Classes tab of the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen assigns to equipment units on which the standard job ID can be performed. This field has a choice list. The class name displays to the right of the ID. This field is optional.
Equipment class description
Description of the equipment class. Display only from the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Equipment Class -> Primary Information screen.
