Database Objects

The Database Objects screen enables you to display information about the data items (database objects) in tables.

Detail View Header

The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.

Table name

Name of the table in which the data items are located. To determine the table name for a specific field, see How to display a field's properties (screen, window, and control IDs; and table and column name). This field has a list box.

Data in the fields on the bottom section of this tab display the table’s columns and attributes. All fields are display only.

Detail View

This screen only has one tab, the Basic Info tab.

Column name

Heading on the column in the table. To determine the column name for a specific field, see How to display a field's properties (screen, window, and control IDs; and table and column name).

Column type

Type of item (i.e., alpha, numeric, variable characters, date) in the column.

Width

Width (in characters) of the column in the table.

Decimal places

Number of decimal places, if any, in the column.
