Current Assignment


The Last Assignment tab for tools enables you to display the dates, times, work orders, and tasks of the tools’ last assignments. When you insert or update information on the Data -> Shop Activity -> Tools -> Check Out/In screen, this screen reflects that information.

Detail View Header

The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.

Tool ID

Unique identifier of the tool currently selected in the grid. This field has a list box.

Detail View

Data in the fields at the bottom section of this tab specify the information about the last assignments. All fields are display only.

Last date and time out

Last date and time on which an employee checked the tool out for use.

Last date and time in

Last date and time on which the employee returned the tool to its location.

Work order ID

Last work order for which the tool was used to perform tasks. This field consists of three parts: identifier of the shop to which the work order is assigned, calendar year in which the work order was opened, and a sequential number ranging from 1 to 9999999.

Task ID

Identifier of the task for which the tool was last used. The task description displays to the right of the ID.

Task IDs are defined on the Data -> Shop Activity -> Setup -> Tasks -> Primary Information screen.

Employee ID

Last employee to check out the tool on the Data -> Shop Activity -> Tools -> Check Out/In screen. The employee’s name displays to the right of the ID.

Department ID

Identifier of the department to which the employee ID was assigned at the time the tool was last checked out. The department name displays to the right of the ID.

Department IDs are defined on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Setup -> Organization Structure -> Departments -> Primary Information screen.
