Yard Configuration |
The Yard Configuration screen enables you to add rows and positions to configure the yard. This screen also allows you to set up information for rack and bin IDs with the Yard row ID and Position ID fields respectively.
The fields in the top section of this tab define the data that the software displays.
Yard location ID
Identifier of the yard location either selected in the grid or that you are defining. Must be defined as an equipment storage location. This field has a list box. The location description displays to the right of the ID. Maximum field length is 10 characters. This field is required.
Yard row ID
Identifier of the yard location. This field has a list box. This field is required. This field is used as the rack ID for rack and bin locations.
Note: The combination of yard location ID and yard row ID must be unique.
The fields in the bottom section of this tab enable you to configure the physical yard.
Display order
Display order. Defaults to 0. Must be unique for each position ID.
Facing low order orientation ID
Identifier of the facing low order orientation. This field has a list box. The orientation description displays to the right of the ID. This field is optional.
Orientation IDs are defined on the Data -> Equipment Management -> Yard Management -> Setup -> Orientations screen.
Facing high order orientation ID
Identifier of the facing high order orientation. This field has a list box. The orientation description displays to the right of the ID. This field is optional.
Orientation IDs are defined on the Data -> Equipment Management -> Yard Management -> Setup -> Orientations screen.
The Positions screen group enables you to define positions.
Delete
To delete the entries in the fields to the right, place a check in this field and click Save.
Position ID
Identifier of the position. This field is used as the bin ID for rack and bin locations.
Equipment unit positions are defined on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Positions screen.
Comments
Text field in which you can enter comments regarding the position. Maximum field length is 60 characters. This field is optional.
Latitude
Latitude coordinates. Maximum field length is 25 characters. This field is optional.
Longitude
Longitude coordinates. Maximum field length is 25 characters. This field is optional.
