How to create a command file to run a report |
To create a command file to run a report, use a text editor (such as WordPad).
The following parameters must be in effect to create a command file to run a report:
Report must exist as either a standard report or a user-defined report.
User must be assigned to a user group that is authorized to execute the report (specified on the Groups Currently Assigned tab of the System Mgmt -> Setup -> Access Rights -> Users screen). Report access rights for user groups are defined on the System Mgmt -> Setup -> Access Rights -> Rights Templates -> Report Access screen.
File must contain the screen ID of the Queries/Reports -> Query Report Generator screen (i.e., 3005), the report name, and the output destination (such as a file or a printer).
The following lines from command files process a report named FTK MAIN REPORT.
