Attributes

The Attributes tab enables you to associate attributes with a capital plan.

Detail View Header

The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.

Capital plan ID

Identifier of the capital plan currently displayed in the grid or that you are defining. Maximum field length is 20 characters. This field has a list box. The plan description displays to the right of the ID. This field is required.

Detail View

The fields in the bottom section of this tab enable you to associate attributes with a capital plan. All fields are optional.

Delete

If this field has a check, the entire row is deleted when you click Save. Attributes may be deleted only if not assigned to active plans.

Attribute ID

Identifier of the attribute. This field has a list box.

Attributes for capital plans are defined on the Data -> Equipment Management -> Capital Planning -> Setup -> Capital Attributes screen. To use the attribute, there must be a check in the Used on Capital plans field.

Attribute name

Name of the attribute. This field populates automatically upon entry of an existing attribute ID. Maximum field length is 50 characters.

Text value

Default text associated with the attribute. This field populates automatically upon entry of an existing attribute ID. Maximum field length is 30 characters.

Numeric value

Default numeric value associated with the attribute. This field populates automatically upon entry of an existing attribute ID. Maximum field length is 12 characters before the decimal, and four characters after it.

Date value

Default date value (in MMDDYYYY format) associated with the attribute.

Comments

Default text comment associated with the attribute. This field populates automatically upon entry of an existing attribute ID. Maximum field length is 60 characters.

Path and file name

Default path and file name associated with the attribute. This field populates automatically upon entry of an existing attribute ID. Maximum field length is 255 characters.
