Basic Info


The Basic Info tab enables you to create capital plans.

Detail View Header

The field in the top section of this tab defines the data that displays.

Capital plan ID

Identifier of the capital plan currently displayed in the grid or that you are defining. Maximum field length is 20 characters. This field has a list box. The plan description displays to the right of the ID. This field is required.

Detail View

The fields in the bottom section of this tab enable you to describe the plan, assign a status, specify the number of years in it, and specify the approval required.

Description

Text description of the plan you are defining. Maximum field length is 60 characters. This field is optional.

Plan status ID

Identifier of the plan status. It defaults to the value set on the options field. If no Plan Status ID is set on the Capital Plan Statuses screen, the value of this is field is null. The status description displays to the right of the ID. This field is required.

Capital plan statuses are defined on the Data -> Equipment Management -> Capital Planning -> Setup -> Capital Plan Statuses screen.

Plan start date and End date

The start and end date of the capital plan.

Approval Status

Approval status of the plan. This field is required. This field has a list box:

Capital plan approval statuses are defined on the Data -> Equipment Management -> Capital Planning -> Setup -> Capital Approval Types screen.

by

Identifier of the employee who approved the plan. Defaults to the employee ID associated with the user ID that was logged in when the Approval field was set to a non-pending status (i.e., APPROVED or DENIED). This field has a list box. The employee name displays below the by field. This field is optional.

at

Date and time (in MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM format) that the plan was approved. The current date and time display when the by field is populated. This field is optional.
