Basic Info tab - information required to insert an equipment unit

To insert an equipment unit on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Equipment Units -> Fleet Equipment screen, the following fields are required:

• Equipment ID

• Model Year

• Manufacturer ID

• Model ID

• Equipment type

• Description

• PM program type (the default is CLASS)

In addition, the following field is conditionally required:

• Serial number – Required if the Life-cycle status code ID field on the Status tab specifies an ID associated with a status category of ACTIVE. (Status categories are associated with life-cycle status code IDs on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Life-Cycle Status Codes screen.)
