Notes


The Notes tab enables you to record notes regarding a delay or incident. Note text is date-, time-, and user ID-stamped and cannot be edited once it has been saved. If there are notes associated with the delay, this tab displays in the alert color specified on Preferences -> Color Setup.

Detail View Header

The fields in the top section of the Notes tab display the incident ID and the name of the user who recorded the incident. These fields are display only.

Incident ID

System-assigned identification number for the incident.  

Entered by

Identification code of the user who initially entered the incident. The user's name displays in the unlabeled field to the right.

The Notes field displays notes previously entered.

The Add a new note field in the bottom section of the tab enables you to type notes regarding the delay or incident. After you click Save, the notes you typed display in the unlabeled field above the Add a new note field. The note is automatically stamped with the user ID, user name, and date and time entered. Once a note has been entered, it may not be changed or deleted.
