Overview - Incident Management

Incident recording and reporting is an important function in a transit operation. The Incident Management module is designed specifically for public transportation operations, both fleet and rail. It facilitates the identification, tracking, and analysis of incidents across all organizational divisions, including transportation, mechanical, engineering, and security departments.

There are screens to document both general and specific incidents, including delays, injuries, accidents, alarms, and unusual occurrences. Incidents may be tracked from initial report to closure. Often, a group of incidents are related. For instance, an equipment failure can cause a delay in subsequent trains. The Incident Management screen, for example, records the details of a single incident and also lists all related incidents.

The Incident Management menu provides access to the following screens and menus.
