Overview - Incident Management Setup


The Incident Management module facilitates the identification, tracking, and analysis of incidents across all organizational divisions, including transportation, mechanical, engineering, and security departments.

The Setup menu provides access to the following screens:

Attributes

Define attributes for incidents

Causes

Define incident cause IDs and specify the incident type (or types) to which they apply

Contact Types

Define contact types for incidents

Delay Types

Define delay types and specify which causes are appropriate for the delay type

Priorities

Define the priority assigned to an incident

Reporting Classifications

Define classifications for FRA-reportable events

Responsibility Types

Define entities or elements responsible for incidents and specify whether they are active

Statuses

Define the status assigned to an incident

Trip Portions

Define separate segments of a trip (e.g., Start, Enroute) to facilitate identifying when an incident occurred

Weather

Define weather conditions
