Create summary item (Layout menu)


To create a summary item (sum, average, or count), complete the following steps.

Step 1.  Position the pointer in a Group Header or Group Footer.

Step 2.  Select the type of summary item

A list of data items and user-defined items for the query or report displays.

Step 3.  Select an item

The item is inserted at the location of the pointer.

To move a summary item or change its properties after you insert it, select Edit Item.

To delete a summary item, select Delete Item.
