Data

The Data tab displays data uploaded from hand-held devices in raw format, specifies that processing skip certain data, and makes changes to the data before you process it. To transfer data between the software and a hand-held device, the Mobile Software module must be installed. Refer to the related documentation for these products.

If you click the Get Data button without specifying values in the filter, only information about run IDs for which processing has not been completed displays. If you click the Get Data button with one or more values defined in the filter, information about all runs that meet that criteria displays.

Run ID

Identifier assigned to each upload. This field has a list box. The run description displays to the right of the ID. You can upload data from multiple devices under one run ID.

The fields in the bottom section of the tab display the data in raw format from the selected upload. Unless otherwise indicated, you can modify the data in the fields.

Skip

If this field has a check, data entered in the row is skipped when the hand-held device data is processed.

Rejected

If this field has a check, a user rejected the entry (see the Processing tab). This field is display only.

Date and time

Date and time (in MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM format) of the hand-held device entry.

The following fields are display only.

Entry type

Method by which data was entered into the device. See types of hand-held device data entry.

Record type

Type of data entered. See record types.

Employee ID

Unique identifier of the employee who entered the data into the hand-held device.

Posting complete

If this field has a check (YES in the filter), the entry was processed.

Data

The data in the format described in record types.
