Work Assignment Profiles |
The Work Assignment Profiles screen enables you to create work assignment profiles that are specific to an employee or a crew (a group of employees). You can also use it to automatically assign an employee based on the skills required for the task. The assignment profile can be set to apply to all tasks, all PM or Inspection tasks, or only specific task IDs.
Work orders opened from the Equipment Due for Service/Inspection screens (both -by Equipment and -by Location) may be automatically assigned to employees based on the work assignment profile assigned to an equipment unit.
Note: Work assignment profiles do not work unless the Default employee assignment on generated work order based on assignment profile option is checked. This is found on the Locations - Primary Information screen, Work Orders - Defaults tab.
Note: Processes which use the Work Order Generation screen will use automatic assignment similar to the Service/Inspections Due pages.
