Parts Required |
If the Production Planning module is active, the Parts Required tab enables you to specify the parts required for a stage.
Note: If there is a check in the Default resource lists based on class/task data field on the Tasks tab and the task ID has a corresponding record on the Data -> Equipment Units -> Setup -> Equipment Class -> Class/Task Information screen, fields on this tab auto-populate based on data defined for the resource class and task ID.
Tip: To limit the display of information in the grid and maximize performance, use the filter. You can sort on stage ID, equipment class ID, part ID, part suffix, and location ID.
The field in the top section of the Parts Required tab identifies the stage. This field is required.
Stage ID
Identifier of the stage. The ID must be unique and a maximum of 20 characters. This field has a list box. The stage description displays to the right of the field.
The screen group in the bottom section of this tab enables you to identify the parts required to repair the part. Unless otherwise indicated, these fields are required.
Delete
To delete the entries in the fields to the right, place a check in this field and click Save.
Note: If a record has a part, task, equipment class, skill type, bay type, tool type, or some combination thereof assigned to a stage, you cannot delete it.
Task ID
Identifier of the task associated with the repair. This field has a list box of active tasks that are defined as either REPAIR GROUP or REPAIR TASK. This field is required.
Task IDs are defined and identified as REPAIR GROUP or REPAIR TASK on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Shop Activity -> Setup -> Tasks -> Primary Information screen.
Part ID
Identifier of the part. The ID is associated with the part suffix. This field has a list box of rebuildable parts. The part description displays to the right. This field is required if other data is entered for the row.
The part ID and suffix must be classified as rebuildable. Part IDs and suffixes are defined on the Basic Info tab of the Data -> Parts Items -> Primary Information screen. Parts are classified as rebuildable on the Data -> Parts Items -> Setup -> Part Classifications screen.
Part suffix
Number associated with the part in the Part ID field, which distinguishes it from other parts with the same part ID. The combination of this part suffix and the part ID must be unique for each part.

Percentage
