Insert Text Item (Layout menu)


You can insert a text item (fixed text) anywhere, even on top of another item or field. When you select Insert Text Item, the New text item dialog box appears. To insert an item, complete the following steps.

Step 1.  Type the value of the text item.

The values in the row and column items indicate the location of the pointer within the section of the query or report where the item will begin (the first row in each section of the query or report is row 1).

Step 2.  Do one of the following:

Step 3.  Make the desired entries or changes to these items.

Step 4.  Do one of the following:

To edit a text item after inserting it - Select Edit Item.

To delete an item - Select Delete Item.
